The next newsletter will tackle the ever-threatening issue of expanding PT practice acts.  Florida's PT Association has recently sought approval of a new act which allows the State's PT's to address self-care, community and work re-integration.  While both National and State organizations are attacking this problem, I think each of use might be able to do something that will help slow the encroachment into our traditional practice area. This newsletter serves the interests of the occupational therapy community in the promotion and enhancement of the practice of occupational therapy. Please feel welcome to contribute to this newsletter’s content.  Suggestions for Hot Topics, Links of Interest or editorial comments should be mailed to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]   NEVER SEND SPAM.
