In reading up on wellness, I am studying a book by Edward P. Sarafino,
entitled:

Health Psychology: Biopsychosocial Interaction.

On page 23, the author describes various "nonpsychology careers".
Among the list is PT, OT, Nurses, etc.  In describing PT, he states:

"The most universal technique used in [PT} involves exercise....
Another technique involves electrical stimulation to move paralyzed
limbs... [and PT's]also give instructions for carrying out everyday
tasks, such as TYING SHOELACES OR COOKING MEALS" (capitalization added)

WOW!
