Hello All: In reading up on wellness, I am studying a book by Edward P. Sarafino, entitled:
Health Psychology: Biopsychosocial Interaction. On page 23, the author describes various "nonpsychology careers". Among the list is PT, OT, Nurses, etc. In describing PT, he states: "The most universal technique used in [PT} involves exercise.... Another technique involves electrical stimulation to move paralyzed limbs... [and PT's]also give instructions for carrying out everyday tasks, such as TYING SHOELACES OR COOKING MEALS" (capitalization added) WOW! Ron ~~~~~ www.OTnow.com ******************** Unsubscribe?
