Hello there-
I don't know how many of you are MTV fans, but one of their latest True Life
shows was subtitled "I'm in a wheelchair". It documented young adults who
are in wheelchairs whether because of accident or disease. They did a
pretty nice job with it. AND...they highlighted one of the girls going
through rehab, and showed her in occupational therapy (learning feeding,
dressing, cooking, strengthening)!!! They didn't spend time talking
specifically about what OT is, but they labeled it correctly (I've seen OT
confused with PT on some documentaries), and she talked about how she is
learning functional things as a part of her therapy. It was interesting.

Anyway, just thought I would pass it on. They will be showing it again on
Sunday morning (8:00-9:00 am -- CST) and Thursday evening (6:00-7:00 pm --
CST) if anyone wants to check it out.

Jen
