Diana,

It sounds like you have the right reasons for pursuing OT. I have recently finished my
program and will be taking my certification exam in the next month. I have had a few
moments where I have had some doubts about the OT program with on class or another. I
did not fully understand OT and what it encompasses until after my fieldworks. I had
bits and pieces but couldn't put it all together. I had a good idea but practicing it
puts everything into perspective. I finally feel like I have a clue as to what it
means to practice OT, not just going through the motions but incorporating the
theries. I am sure you already get hit with the question of what OT is? I get it all
the time and my answer is constantly changing. I usually stick with the generic answer
of ADL's and the holistic approach, but It is quite a bit more than that. I love the
idea that this profession can be very broad as you need it to be until you find that
area or niche that is perfect for you. Well I have ramble!
d on long
 enough. Good luck
