Jen, There are peds positions in the D/FW area. Advanced Therapy Services comes to mind. Their outpatient facilities in Fort Worth outshine those in Dallas, but they also do a lot of home visits. They and Disability Services of the Southwest provide contacted services to the CLASS (Community Living Assistance and Support Services) Program, a Medicaid waiver program for people with developmental disabilities. The Direct Services Agencies for the CLASS program also contact with individual therapists to make home visits.
Unfortunately, Medicaid services in Texas, other than the CLASS program, have been cut severely. But, Easter Seals, UCP and others continue to provide services.
