Hello: I rec'd a referral request to evaluate a client for a mobility device. She is currently using a straight cane and the ALF manager feels that a rolling walker might be better. She called HOPE Therapy asking if PT or OT would be best for evaluating the client's needs. The client is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
My very educated and strong OT advocate assistant told the manager that OT would be best. Just curious how other's on the list feel about this?
