thanks for the book title. I will try to find it. Is it available through AOTA. On second thought I will try Amazon. I am also becoming more and more disenchanted with AOTA. In stead of tackling the heart of our problems they continue to waste time and effort retooling our terms and paradigms. Has anyone else seen the American PTA web site? Now that's what I call a real web site. Has anyone out there been using the Allen levels in LTC. there was a big discussion on the AOTA list serve which once again pointed to the ivory tower types nitpicking what goes on the real OT world. I work for Harborside Health Care which is going to bring out there version of the Allen Levels and the Geriatric Deteroriation Scale. Don't know the details except we desperately need something to help work with dementia pts. Just having something concrete to go on with functional levels would be a great help. thanks Chris
