My name is Lindsay Pursglove, and I am a graduate occupational therapy
student at West Virginia University in the USA. I am doing a
presentation on OT in early intervention as part of a class assignment.
I would appreciate if any OTs working in early intervention would be
willing to tell me about their experiences in this setting and answer a
few questions. I am interested in knowing how many OTs are employed in
early intervention settings in West Virginia and throughout the United
States. Also, is employment in this setting growing, shrinking, or
staying the same, and what are some reasons? The early intervention
setting is rather unfamiliar to me, so I would like to know what a
“typical” workday in this setting consists of. Finally, what are the
current major issues facing OTs in the early intervention setting? I
would sincerely appreciate the comments and opinions of anyone working
in early intervention. If you are not working in early intervention
but still have information on the setting to share, I would appreciate
that as well. Thank you in advance for your time and efforts.

Lindsay
