I encourage all members to bring issues and concerns to AOTA. A first step might be to contact AOTA's public relations staff to see what AOTA is doing and what is in the works and the PR plan supports efforts to realize the vision for 2017.

I am not frustrated with AOTA, I just have some suggestions and I think other's might share my same suggestions. I would like for AOTA to better address the disparity between national policy and actual practice. Because in my opinion, there is a BIG void between what AOTA says OT's do and what many, many OT's actually do. I would also like AOTA to develop a National campaign about occupation. I believe that writing letters will at least bring these issues to the attention of the national leaders. It seems like a good thing to me.
