I agree with Terrie - being a generalist is a double edged sword but what drew
me to OT in the beginning!

I almost hate to say this, but what is 

unique about OT is the fact that we (dare I say it) are "Generalists" to 

some extent.  That means we address not just one component of function but 

the various components....or at least that is what I thought we were taught 

to do.  My opinion is that one day the medical comminity will wake up and 

see that all they need are OT's!
