Tried various transfer products and strategies to facilitate
independence with transfers.

After many trials, the patient feels that a 1/4" piece of plywood placed
along the edge of the bed, in conjunction with a slide board is
currently the best solution for independent transfers. Her independence
is hampered by her weight and stature.

Next week, we will begin addressing tub transfers. Currently we are
thinking that a tub transfer bench is the best solution, however, there
multiple problems with this.

1. Stability of the bench

2. How to clean the perianal area while on a solid surface

I appreciate suggestions regarding #2.

Thanks,

Ron
