Oh yes! I think my wonder is whether I will have confidence in my abilities.
I'm on a great placement and it has been incredibly nuturing for me and I
feel my confidence increasing every day, but actually becoming an OT my
confidence becomes a little shaky!

I think its good that we all question our abilities, it makes us aware of
our practice. I hope Ron, that you have good support and someone to ground
you when your worries become too big.

I always remember a day when I was an OTA that I was doing lots of work and
for once feeling I would like a thank you. The following day all I got were
thank yous! It just made up for all the rubbish days I had when I felt that
I couldn't do anything right.

As humans we are so good at looking at the negative, but always forget the
positive. We are always going to have the tough patient/client or the even
tougher patient/clients family, we are going to have more days thankless
days than thank yous, but I love the fact that I'm training to become an OT
and that I'm thankful for!

Becky :-)
