Hello Carmen:

I  don't think there is any ONE source of OT dysfunction. It seems to me
that  several  factors have come together over many decades of practice.
OT  did  not just wake up one day with this identity crisis; It's been a
long time coming.

What  confuses me most, is why there is not a concerted and hard-driving
efforts  by  our  national  and  state  leaders to address this problem.
Something  MUST be done at the national and state level to recognize and
address this situation.

Of  all the things negatively affecting our profession, I think that the
amount  of  inconsistency  between  doctrine  and practice is our SINGLE
LARGEST OBSTACLE.
