In fact I need to re-read the postings to get the previous suggestions and
details but...
how about intervention for fall preventions for this client..."ounce of
prevention is a pound of cure" The elbow fracture is a sign of other problems
that will crop up again. So changing the environment for optimal safety,
educating and training the client,family caregivers for needed supervision,
equipment, rearranging routines, moving furniture to reduce risk....the whole
aging in place philosophy.
At 95 broken elbow is never just a broken elbow! Keep up the good work with
serving geriatric clientele. Let's keep the dialogue going
