I don't think anything about him "clashed" with me. However, I do believe that the patient was wanting a therapist to do something TO him. Instead, what he got with me was a therapist asking a lot of "nosy" questions, prying into the "why" and "how comes" of his situation. In retrospect, I do NOT believe the patient:
1. Valued 2. Understood my approach. But, I don't know, which is why I asked our secretary to inquire with the patient. I haven't hear anything yet, and I doubt I ever will. Which I don't understand. How can we improve ourselves if we are not told how we've possibly erred? Thanks to everyone who responded...
