Hi all,

This question was posed a couple of years ago and recieved a huge response. I'm
curious again .... concerning this healthcare debate being hashed out in the
US.

I am an OT working in the US. The healthcare debate is a topic of conversation
daily here. Does anyone have input on how a change from private insurance vs.
govt insurance providers? Specifically....

1. How would the "universal" type insurance change my profession? Will it be
more difficult to provide our services? Will it affect the demand of OT?

2. Personally, is it true that we would "wait in line" to receive medical
attention, schedule surgeries etc? Would we be able to choose our doctors?
