Some people seem to be unclear as to what mpotr blockers are. Here's a list of the crucial blockers:
A specification, that details: 1. Protocol for rolling chat sessions [1] 2. Protocol for Identity verification 3. Deciding how Authentication looks in the group context 4. Decide set of chat participants. (proposal [2]) 5. How to recover from error states (proposal [3]) 6. Message ordering (to mitigate replays) a. Proposal: Old Blue implementation [4] 7. Deniable Signature Key Exchange algo [5] 2, 3, are AFAIK undiscussed and need proposals 1, 4, and 5 have proposals that need to be fleshed out in a protocol document. 6 and 7 require implementation of new algorithms and then distillation into a mpotr protocol document.
