Mandrake Linux 9.1 MySQL 4.0.14 Apache1.3.28 (mod_perl 1.x) otrs-1.1.3-01 I've installed otrs several times on different machines and haven't had this problem. I'm not sure where to go to fix it. I can plug in the url: http://servername/otrs/installer.pl and I can create the db fine. When I go to index.pl, I get: Error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock (2). It's no wonder since I don't have that directory. The /etc/my.cnf only lists /tmp/mysql.sock for both the client and the server. What's happening? Thanks in advance.
