I don't know how things are in your part of the world, but this is how I have it set up-- I have an email address that is like a mini-mailing list, it forwards messages to both my regular email address as well as my phone's email address. Here in the states many if not most of the service providers have it set up so emails can be sent to phones as text messages. So I get a regular email about a new ticket, I also get a text message to my phone. Very handy.
