Hi!

        If you have everything you need (Apache, Mysql, perl, mod_perl if you 
want to
use it, and maybe some other little bits...), you should be able of pointing 
your browser
to http://address/otrs/installer.pl and begin setting up otrs.

        You should also find some other directory where you'll have the core of 
OTRS
(*.dtl files, Config.pm, Defaults.pm, etc). I should be somewhere in /opt or 
/usr, but I
have almost no experience with Gentoo to help you further, sorry.
