[otrs] Note types in OTRS

All, I am playing about with notes in OTRS. I have added a filed in sysconfig   Ticket::DefaultNextNoteStateType: Default states of next note.   Waiting on customer. However when I create a test ticket and then add a note I cannot see this status or any statuses for that matter.
