Since you are new with OTRS though, may I suggest reading the OTRS documentation first. At http://doc.otrs.org you can find a list of admin manuals for all recent OTRS versions. Just select the one for the version you have installed (choose 'en' for english). These documents guide you through installing and configuring the OTRS system and will certainly make your life easier. If you still have questions afterwards, please feel free to post them here.
