I tend to agree with you, because I'm having the same trouble with all
the .cgi things which installed perfectly on FC6. Now on FC8 I get
Internal Server Error and the logs say the file doesn't exist. Where can
I get the old perl package. How about using CentOs instead of FCx? Does
anyone know of a reliable distro that OTRS works on?

try to install old perl package (not perl modules, perl base)

look here (in russian)
https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13366

if you find solution (maybe in other bugzillas), post it to list

fedora 6 works. some later changes in perl cause this crash.
Maybe OTRS developers may find a workaround.
