it is possible, please look at

. Since this is a common question you should also find additional infos
in the mailing list archive and with Google.
However, I would not recommend this solution due to the higher
complexity. IMHO it's so much easier to use a virtual machine or a
second machine.
Also, if your OTRS version is that old your system environment will be
too. So I bet you won't get installed a current OTRS version easily.
