Could it be related to a ("high") number of item in configuration ? I mean:

users: 83
queue: 256
groups: 70
customer_user:107
(valid and invalid)

If the tool try to compose an update with so many item could pass a kinda
buffer so it does nothing (just a fantasy guess)?
