Hi Filipe, You could do this, but it would require some customization. The biggest issue (but I'm getting techy here) is that we generate the PDF in Module code, not in a backend API. This means that you would need to copy off some code to someplace else to be able to generate a PDF in the back-end. If desired, my company can assist with this, just drop me a line.
There is another issue that I'd like to point out, and that is that it's usually not that convenient for end-users to receive PDF attachments, plain text or HTML formatted text is immediately viewable for them in their email clients and works much faster. Of course I can't look into your requirements or reasoning, so you might obviously have a valid reason for it.
