Hi Wes,
if it doesn't matter for you then OpenSuse is fine. AFAIR the OTRS
developers use Suse Linux or OpenSuse themselves and it seems that
OpenSuse is also not uncommon in the community. This doesn't mean that
it's the best choice but it won't be the wrong choice.
Debian / Debian-based and Redhat / Fedora seem to be also widespread
among the users so I recommend to choose one of these three depending on
your skills for each of them.
