You don't provide any details about your system, or what steps you took. For me, upgrade from 3.1.4 to 3.1.5 was successful on OpenSUSE 11.4, by backing up first and following these steps:
# mkdir /opt/otrs-3.1.4-20120515 # cp -r /opt/otrs/* /opt/otrs-3.1.4-20120515/ # rpm -Uvh otrs-3.1.5-01.noarch.rpm # /opt/otrs/bin/otrs.RebuildConfig.pl # rcapache2 restart I didn't even need to log out of my current otrs admin session. If something strange had happened I could have replaced the original otrs directory from the quick backup.
