I agree it's a simple enough error to diagnose, and I'm sorry for not being more clear but PostGres IS running, just like MySQL was running before when I used it. Another issue is that even though that error occurs, the system rights my change into the database, just without my changes. I assumed that postgres and/or sql was configured by OTRS to listen on the localhost/127.0.0.1 - is that an incorrect assumption? My firewall is off and has been off since install.
If I need to make some additional change to the database to get it to listen on the localhost please let me know. Thank you!
