It would be good if someone could try the fix on an RPM based distro;
grab at least r47 of the ~cafuego/ourdelta/ourdelta-configtest
'invoke-rc.d mysql configtest' works fine on my Ubuntu box now, but that
doesn't use the shipped initscript.

Bug description:
Is it possible to add "configtest" option to rc script to validate the
configuration file without having to restart mysqld.
I've seen similar functionality in some rc scripts (apache comes to mind).
