That's quite possible. But look, if you don't want to use InnoDB, there's less 
point in using OurDelta since many of the patches are related to it. Of course 
it's still a useful build for the additional instrumentation that's not InnoDB 
related... and you can always run the binary with --skip-innodb if you don't 
use it, then the subsystem won't get initialised and won't use runtime memory 
or create files on disk.
Easy enough. But we do feel that on most systems, InnoDB should be the default 
storage engine used.
