Yep fix for the leak in the userstat patch would be great, thanks.
Re the keeping track of usage per session... if you care to write up a patch
for the patch, I think that can be good.
Perhaps it's something that people might want to switch on separately. If you
check out the current version of the patch, there's a global toggle to switch
userstat on. You could make that into a tri-state, with =2 to switch this on.
