We're entering hour 42 of an ongoing outage affecting Comcast Business customers in the Schaumburg/Elk Grove Village/Roselle area. I'm only sending it to the list now because originally it was reported as a power failure/generator failure, contained to our node, but now I'm being told there was also potentially a fiber cut involved and the issue has cascaded outside of our area... hopefully not affecting any of you with a DC presence in Elk Grove.
For reference, we're EVPL over Coaxial at the site that's down. It's also affecting our standard Business Internet line there that we use for guest access. Other Coax services (TV) are unaffected for us.
