Field Services reported that the Construction crew has arrived on site and are 
assessing the damage and determining a plan of repair. The fiber splicing 
repair team remains en route and an ETA of 21:00 GMT has been provided.

Field Operations have confirmed a fiber cut near Lake Charles, LA caused by 
construction activities occurring in the area. Additional testing is taking 
place to further isolate the damaged fiber. A splicing repair team has been 
dispatched to the site and an ETA of 18:30 GMT has been provided.
Current status:

Field Operations continue efforts to expose the damaged buried fiber span so 
that a restoration plan can be implemented.  In addition, Field Operations 
continue to investigate if spare fiber is available in the area to migrate 
impacted services and expedite service restoral.
The Transport NOC is confirming with Field Operations that the ETA for the 
fiber splicing repair team remains as 18:30 GMT. The information will be 
relayed as soon as it is received.
