Many sites on the Internet including Search (Google, duckduckgo, etc),
have not been responding at all, most of the day today, and this continues.
If you were previously connected to a site with an already open browser
or application, communications are working to those sites, email is
operational.
Trying to connect directly to many known sites is also failing

Hello,
FirstLight has a fiber cut between Nashua, NH & Boston, MA.
Affecting many customers (including me) and some of their own
backbone circuits.
Cut happened at approximately 5:49am Eastern time.
First OTDR tech will be onsite to find break by 8am, then
fiber splice/restoration contractors will roll out.
No ETR yet, and waiting for the master ticket number.
