Dear John (ooh, one of those "dear John" letters! lol) and Peter,
I have a 7220/200 with an occasionally dodgy floppy drive (yes, one of those
dreaded models Remy
Davidson advised to avoid at all costs - years too late for me! - though
apart from the floppy I've had
a pretty good innings with it), so I'm particularly interested in getting
hold of the floppy drive from
the 7200/120 as a possible replacement if it's still there, and if you can
bear to part with it John
(seeing you got in with dibs on machine). However, I have no knowledge
whatsoever as to how you
would remove it from the computer, so this might represent a problem in
itself. I live in Dulwich
Hill, so am pretty close to where you work Peter, if that's of any help.

Anyway, please advise if I'm asking for the moon here; will settle for
cheese (who needs those
mice?)
Cheers, Carolyn.

PS To all outbackmac subscribers, thanks for your emails - what little I
can understand provides an interesting potted history and basic tuition in
Mac-ology for this computer neanderthal! ;-)
