Anyone had any good experiences with non-apple brands, or can suggest good
places to go buy (in Sydney or online)? I'd really like to look at a decent
range of screens before investing.

I have seen some Formac screens used by some print designers I know and they seem to be quite happy with them.

As for online shopping, take a look at http://www.busybits.com.au/ they have a reasonable range but are more focused on geek users than designers. Other places would probably be Paleographics but that's just 'cause they're online ... never dealt with them myself.

Who am I buying from? Vital Peripherals in Sydney. Shocking online presence (a mail form at http://www.vitalps.com.au/ ) but they do give good prices. Tell Ben I sent you ;)
