I think you'll find it almost impossible to find one of the appropriate batteries, except, if you're lucky, at Apple dealers.

I've seen reports that 3 AA batteries in series (you can buy a 2 and 1 battery holder from Jaycar for a couple of bucks) rigged onto the plug that plugs into the motherboard will do the trick - am about to try it out myself (within the next few weeks, anyway).
