Hi

I've been trying to help a friend set up an Alcatel SpeedTouch 570 on his PowerBook. Internet access is possible through ethernet, but we cannot get access via wireless. I believe the latter is due to the SpeedTouch needing to be configured via its web interface. However, we can't get into it! Typing the IP address for the SpeedTouch in a browser produces nothing. Configuring the TCP/IP for AirPort using DHCP allows an IP address and subnet to be acquired from the SpeedTouch, but without being able to enter user name and password in the SpeedTouch itself, we're stuck.

Has anybody else configured one of these routers for wireless access? The BigPond technical support is useless.

Jeff
