If you want upgrades, try http://www.sonnettech.com/. I just found
that they make
a 1.7 gig Duel Processor for my 733 Mhz G4 2002 QuickSilver, for
...............US$650!
I bought an upgrade card from them a few years ago to convert my Umax S900
to a G4 and found them and their products very reliable.
According to the other lists Sonnet upgrades are not the best, and
I'd have to say that my Sonnet 400-G3ed 9600 was a lemon.
PowerLogix is supposedly far better (excepting for a couple of models
which had issues when fitted to G4s), and the 800mHz unit I have now
in my B&W Rev 1 G3 is OK, though it does suffer slowdowns and
occasional crashes (which may well be unrelated to the processor);
the NewerTech MaxPowr 240 G3 in my 6116 is superstable.
A good dealer of upgrades is OWC (Other World Computing). Google for it...
