Dear All,
Marvellous to see such volume once again on the list!!!
I pose an open question to this list - is there a possible project we
could work on to put these old macs to good use in the community
somewhere?
Is there anyone out there who may have a project they are already
dealing with or have on their mind that can make a suggestion?
The undertaking nay well be daunting, but its worth a thought maybe.
Maybe we can create an identity for our virtual community by making an
impact on society in a positive way.
I live in South Melbourne and walk past a rooming house for displaced
men quite often. If there was scope to put a couple computers into a
plcae like that for the residents to use that may be worth considering.
There are lots of issues to think about...
