Email Support Analyst Chicago, IL 12+Months Contract Job Description: Provide 3rd level support for the Exchange 2003/2007 Email Environment and all Email-related components such as clusters, backups, server monitoring, anti-virus, anti-spam, faxing, and paging systems. This includes working problem tickets and having interaction with both internal and external clients. Participate in on-call rotation. Participate in Email projects as required. Skill Sets * This position requires a strong technical knowledge and experience of Windows Infrastructure technology with the emphasis on Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007, Windows Active Directory, Outlook 2003/2007, and Outlook Web Access. This knowledge must be based on experience with supporting large enterprise-wide deployments. * Working knowledge with SMTP mail flow, SMTP appliances, anti-virus, anti-spam, Intel servers and configurations, SAN technology, and clustering is required. * Experience configuring and supporting Blackberry Enterprise server as well as Blackberry handheld devices and Windows Mobile devices is also required. * Prior knowledge or experience with supporting Symantec Enterprise Vault for Exchange and Discovery Accelerator is a plus. Individual must possess the following soft skills: * Excellent client service skills including the ability to vary style to client knowledge level and ability to troubleshoot over the phone. * Be able to work well independently as well as with a team. Excellent written and verbal communciation skills.
