Write and troubleshoot complex programs . Deliver high quality products, with minimal logic and coding defects . Analyze business and technical problems and recommend both, business and technical solutions, as appropriate . Work independently or in a team environment . Provide technical assistance/guidance to programmers . Understand and adhere to Expedia, Inc. company policies . Other activities as directed by manager Technical / Functional Knowledge . Expertise in Java J2EE, Java Script, Web Services, and XML . Proficient in at least one other programming language such as SQL, C++, .NET . Ability to adapt and become productive in any situation quickly . Ability to document technical solutions . Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal) . Demonstrate positive, solutions-oriented attitude . Understand operations and relationships of Expedia, Inc. Business Groups . Understand the functional and technical aspects of other development team members . Understand the full software development life cycle . Not required but would be a plus - Experience in Freemarker, Spring, JSTL Tag Libraries, SQL, and HTML Education . Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
