Software Engineer II Job Responsibilities The Software Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance for DataDirect Connect products (emphasis on implementation and maintenance), working as a contributing team member with other software and QA engineers. Qualifications Experience: 4 to 6 years Qualifications: Required experience: C++ programming, a working knowledge of relational databases (such as Oracle, DB2), and a thorough understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems. Any of the following experience is a plus: ODBC development, a working knowledge of Windows operating systems and network (TCP/IP) and/or database protocols.
