Embedded Software QA Engineer Experience: • 2-5 years networking/software QA experience. Skills/Expertise required: • The qualified candidate must possess proficient L2/L3/L4 networking skills (such as ATM, Ethernet, MPLS, TCP/IP etc) and be familiar with the equipment, tools and methodologies used to test them. • Programming skills: Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, TCL or Python. Should be familiar with C. • Candidates must have demonstrated skills in writing test plans, test development, test automation, test execution, and reporting for networking/embedded systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • The candidate must be confident, self-sufficient, quick learner, must have strong problem solving skills and strong interest in software testing. • Experience with configuration management tools like CVS, SVN or ClearCase.
