SR Software Engineer Description: Senior Software Engineer Design and develop system architecture for company network. Recommend hardware and operating systems, plan capacity, draft and maintain documentation. Define systems requirements, design, develop and test webservices, applications servers, messaging, access layers and databases. Migrate work projects from legacy infrastructure to state of art servers. Engage in impact analysis, application re-design and upgrade. Design, maintain and administer network security system. Administer web system and portal servers, maintain core business software applications. Design and research cost requirements, and troubleshoot database issues. Coordinate enterprise application integration. Report and present information on emerging technologies, policy and procedures to technology and business unit managers. Utilize Oracle DB, IBM DB, IBM Websphere, CA eTrust Siteminder, Oracle Apps ERP, Java, J2EE and other software and hardware tools.
