Software Test Engineer Responsibilities: • Build test cases and test plans to test new functional code • Run black box test cases and ad-hoc testing for billing, order entry and wireless device provisioning software applications • Contribute to the overall quality of the project release by reviewing requirements documents, technical designs, and other upstream documentation • Follow developed test plans through major software releases • Document identified bugs and set proper priority • Track open bugs and work with development team to ensure that identified issues are resolved in a quality and timely manner • Provide input on and contribute to the development of an automation framework and the development of test tools • Develop test and release processes as well as develop test documentation Qualifications: • 4+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Test Engineer, SDET or similar position designing, implementing, and executing white and black box test plans in an Enterprise Software environment • Experience testing a similar open source based software stack to UNIX/Linux, PHP, Java, Apache, Tomcat • Ability to write utilities in C#/.NET, knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, XML, SQL • Experience with open source test tools such as WatiN, Nunit, Bugzilla, Testopia, and Selenium a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Computer Science or related degree preferred • Experience with customer contact and billing systems a plus Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Introduce business in 3800 cities.
