QA Technician * Authorizing release of Reagents or packaged products to Finished Goods Inventory for Distribution * Assist in training new QA FPR associates * Performing finished product release verification by following established standard operating procedures and GMP's. * Ensuring discrepancies are corrected and properly documented and inspection results are recorded in the DHR (Product History Package). * Verifying that the DHR requirements were performed, test results attached and confirmed to have met all acceptance criteria. * Interacting effectively in various levels of the organization. * Validating work done by peers through random audits. * Initiating Nonconforming Material Reports, Data Entry - SAP Database * Keeping abreast of the basic requirements for compliance in own area of work and complies with those requirements. Participates as required in training on regulatory issues affecting own area of work. Brings regulatory compliance questions/issues to the attention of management. * Following Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures. Taking responsibility for safety in immediate work area. Participates in rograms. Notifies supervisor of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices. May provide recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment. * Participating in problem solving as needed. * Reporting quality issues to Manager, QA. * Entering accurate result of quality record review in Access Database. * Performing other related duties and assignments as required. Qualifications: A minimum of a high school diploma A minimum of 2 years experience in a quality function. Assets: Previous experience in medical device or pharmaceutical environment. Previous manufacturing experience. Effective interpersonal skills, a great team player Experience in visual and documentation review Able to follow established policies and procedures.
