Senior Software QA Engineer * Work and collaborate effectively with other project team members; conduct software QA/testing to ensure applications developed meet specifications * Define, develop, and improve software QA/testing methodologies, processes and procedures * Define overall software testing strategy and testing plans for applications under development * Design, create, execute, and maintain software test cases/scripts * Analyze and report testing results to management; define and implement QA metrics * Analyze, triage, and manage software defects, and work closely with the development team to fix/close the defects * Evaluate, recommend, and implement software testing/automation tools * Provide first and second level support for software applications delivered to our internal and external customers Qualifications * 3-5 years of experience in software QA/testing * Strong skills and experience in various software QA/testing methodologies, including functional testing, system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and performance/stress testing * Strong experience in developing and executing QA/testing strategy, test plan, test cases and scripts * Significant experience in analyzing and reporting test results; defining and implementing QA metrics * Strong experience in analyzing, prioritizing, and managing software defects, and effectively working with developers in fixing and closing defects * In-depth skills with a variety of testing tools, especially Quality Center, QuickTestPro and LoadRunner * Strong experience in software and application technical support, in effectively managing customer relationships and expectations * Solid understanding and knowledge of custom application development and agile software development life cycles (SDLC) Education * BA/BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Introduce business in 3800 cities.
