Software Quality Engineer Responsibilities: * Develop, maintain and report software quality measures. * Champion quality improvements in the software development processes. * Teach and implement software quality tools and processes. * Lead reviews, inspections and software verification and validation practices for internally developed software, as well as third party software. * Report to management on state of software quality. * Identify, measure and improve area processes. Qualifications: * B.S. and/or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent * Working knowledge of ISO-9001 quality systems * Eight years experience in embedded level software development with five years experience as project leader * Experience in software design methods, design of software processes, and software quality assurance procedures including inspections, testing, verification, and validation * Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills * Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities * Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment * Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
